As your representative, I will work to ensure:
- Facilities and staff training for safer schools/ fiscal accountability
- Career education and life skill classes to prepare students for 21st-century jobs
- Improved academic achievement, AP pass rates, and special ed. outcomes
- Respectful classroom behavior, anti-bullying programs
- Access to mental health services
- Decreased dropout rates and increased number of students attending college
- Innovative educational programs focusing on science, technology, arts
- Improved communication with parents/families
- Increased computer and internet accessibility
- College/community collaborations
- Continued drug and gang interventions
- Increased funding for art/ music
